Education for Teachers at the David Helping Hand Foundation

At the David Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), we recognize that teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our children. Our commitment extends beyond students to empower and support educators. Here’s how we foster professional growth and enhance teaching practices:

  1. Teacher Training Programs:

    • We organize comprehensive training sessions for teachers.

    • Topics include pedagogy, classroom management, curriculum design, and student engagement.

    • Our goal is to equip teachers with effective strategies and tools to create dynamic learning environments.

  2. Materials and Resources:

    • We provide teaching materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and multimedia resources.

    • These resources are tailored to various subjects and grade levels.

    • Our aim is to enhance instructional quality and promote student-centered learning.

  3. Bridge Schools:

    • In areas where formal education options are limited, we establish bridge schools.

    • These schools focus on strengthening foundational skills in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

    • The curriculum includes three modules:

      • Foundation Level Course (FLC): A 90-day program emphasizing foundational aspects.

      • Beginning Level Course (BLC): An additional 90-day program covering more advanced topics.

      • Senior Level Course (SLC): A final 90-day program delving into advanced learning.

    • By bridging educational gaps, we empower children to transition to mainstream schools.

  4. Adopt-a-School Program:

    • We collaborate with government schools to enhance resources, infrastructure, and teacher capacity.

    • Our efforts make schools fully functional, hygienic, and conducive to learning.

    • Currently, we have adopted two schools, with ongoing work to improve their educational environment.

  5. Connecting Vulnerable Children:

    • HHF strives to connect vulnerable children who cannot afford private school fees to government schools.

    • By facilitating enrollment, we ensure access to quality education.

    • Our mission is to bridge the gap between public health initiatives and educational opportunities.

Join us in our commitment to empower teachers and create a brighter future for all.
